His story
Dr. Ali AlMahdi is an entrepreneur and strategist. For more than 15 years he has worked across the Middle East, Europe and Asia, in public institutions and private companies.
He chairs the Iraqi Council for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ICEI) and has built companies across the UAE, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States, among them Fusion AI, where he is CEO, Al Marafaa DMCC, Marafaa Group and BLC.
He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration, an MBA and professional certifications in project management, and brings what he learned in academia into the daily work of building companies.
Outside work he reads, writes and mentors people who are just starting out. He is drawn to the place where art and science meet.
